Social psychology is a branch of psychology that studies the social behavior of the individual and the group, such as responding to social stimuli. Its goal is to build a better society based on understanding the behavior of the individual and the group. In other words, social psychology is the scientific study of man as a social being. This science is concerned with the psychological characteristics of groups, patterns of social interaction, and reciprocal influences between individuals, such as the relationship between parents and children within the family, and the interaction between teachers and learners.
